  1. I have many dreams that I would like to make real during my life. I love to travel all over the world, I love doing fun outdoor stuff and I like to learn new things (sometimes). My dream life would be full of travel and exciting adventures and places. I am writing this from Sydney Australia, so you can see that I love to travel. In my dream life, I am not sure what my career would be for sure. I am debating on whether I should be an architect, or a computer engineer. For high school, I am planning to take architecture courses. In my dream life, I would live in Colorado, where I can go skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer, and any outdoor activity I want. Colorado is a very beautiful state. I would love to have a sports car, like a Mercedes Benz AMG, or if I some how become a multi millionaire, I would definitely buy a Mercedes Benz G 63 6x6 Amg. As you might notice, I love Mercedes Benz. Everyone in my family has a motorcycle license, so I would get one too. I don’t really have any middle school or highs school dreams except for becoming smarter, so yeah. In my adult life I don’t know what’s going to happen at all. So woohoo keep dreaming I guess.

  2. Wow. This is somewhat of a tough question for me, even though many of you may be thinking it isn’t! Anyways, let’s get on with the show…

For my dream life, I used to see myself as a paleontologist, as many of my Matthew Jago Elementary School friends can testify too. In fact, my obsession was so much that I ended up making a little “club” in my fifth grade classroom called the “5th Grade Jr. Paleontology Club”, which sadly broke down towards the end of the year (myself included). However, as the months went on, I slowly become detached to prehistory and my love for music right SMACKED prehistory off the podium into second place in my Career Olympics! ;-) Then, I become obsessed with theology, and so along with being a musician, I also envision myself as a pastor in a small church that I would’ve raised funds to build, with a Saturday (no April Fools jokes here!) School, choir, and everything, called the “Church of Our Lord Jesus”. If you ask me why, the main reason is that honestly, I’m quite sick of all this hypocrisy in the Church these days, and people honestly need a church which teaches (quite literally) EVERY word that comes out of the mouth of God, which is what I want to do. As a paleontologist, I think the main I wanted to do was either work in a lab and examine fossils that come from other sites, or go to them myself and at least supervise the digs and maybe even discover a new dinosaur species in the process which I’ll name! But then again, since paleontology really isn’t my aim for a career anymore, I’ll stick to music, which I’ll highlight in my middle school, high school, college, and work/adult life dreams, so keep reading! :-)

  3. Middle School Dreams - For eighth grade, the main goal I want to work is finishing and writing new songs and poems (which is exactly what I want to do for Spring Break). I also want to see if I can record some songs and learn to produce and record them myself over the summer, so that I don’t have to go to a producer that often and use up their time and our money. However, usually finding time from the few producers I know is quite hard, and so my main goal is to just keep writing, although I know it’s really only going to be a way to put off actually recording my originals. Also, for my Hindustani (North Indian) classical vocal class, we have different exams for different levels of singing that are recommended to show our learning process in music, with a written exam on music theory and an oral, “practical” exam on singing different genres of music. I already passed my first level exam with final colors last year (YAY!!), and so now I want to try and finish my second level exam by the end of this year. All of this will be very hard, but, as they say, “Keep trucking!”

High School Dreams - For high school, my main goal in school is to excel academically and try and get by with all of the work I have to do, one semester and one grade at a time. In my extracurricular activities, I want to be in choir for every year in JFK High School, and maybe join some other music-related clubs and the NHS later on. Then again though, there’s probably a vast variety of clubs I haven’t even seen yet, so I guess I’ll just have to decide when I get there. If I do end up in a relationship (as I know many do around this time), I’m the kind of person who’d really just date one person, and that person would be the one I’d be with for life. In other words, I’d choose my girlfriend REALLY carefully. Anyways, about music: For my musical career, I’d mainly focus on writing songs and making albums in the school year, and maybe, just maybe, shoot for doing my first concert tours in the summer. Finally, I’d grab a lot of opportunities to perform, so for my musical career, it’ll probably be jam-packed! For my Hindustani vocal class, I want to pass at LEAST two more levels, which will really help because the great thing about these level exams is that as you grow to higher levels of singing and pass higher exams, you earn higher degrees of achievement. There are six levels, and passing the sixth level earns you a Ph.D., so this might just help me boost my college degrees too!

College Dreams - Ok; now it’s getting serious. These are the years where we start to make the biggest decisions of our lives, and so I’m going to break it down for you all. As per my musical career, I’m probably going to keep going from what I’ll have been doing in high school, and for my Hindustani classical music, I want to finish all of my levels by the end of college. Yes, ALL of them. For Western music in particular, however, I want to finish my college courses by the time I finish high school. “But how?” you may ask. Well, one of the most widely-known colleges of music in America, the Berklee College of Music in Boston, has online degree courses that cost significantly less than the cost on campus! However, you have to finish high school in order to start, although I broke that mold when my dad asked the people at Berklee to take a look at my profile and resume. They were so amazed when they saw it that they are now willing to accept me as a student, so I’m planning to start in eighth grade over the summer. Since this program consists of four years of training, I might as well finish the courses by the time I graduate as a senior. Then, all I have to do is give them my high school diploma, and I’ll get my bachelor's degree. Thus, I’ll be free to study whatever else I want to as well by the time I reach the age of college, which I’ll probably devote to studying theology and apologetics.

  4. Work/Adult Life Dreams - Then, of course, comes my career, and as Steve Jobs once said, “the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” Now, as I’d mentioned earlier, the main two careers I want to focus on are being a full-on musician and minister. As per my musical career, I want to keep on doing what I mentioned in high school and college (just now it’s full-time), and of course, somewhere along my life, whether it be now or high school or beyond, I want to reach my ultimate music goal of singing in front of a BILLION people! But most importantly, with my music, I want to do three things: inspire people with my music, share my story with the world and reach out to others with my story, and spread the glory of God in the process. As a pastor, I want to educate the Christians of tomorrow on the Word of God (because our generation need a LOT of hope in this precarious future), and give the best answer to all those who ask the greatest question humanity has ever asked: “What is the meaning of life?” As per my adult life, I don’t plan on being married until after I finish college, although like many other people, I do plan on getting married, raising a family, and moving into another house with said family, although I’d still be fine if my wife moved into my present house, as is Indian tradition. If I do buy a house, I don’t mind living in an average home, as long as it has separate rooms for a music studio and a science lab (basement included), although I’d have to discuss with my wife on that matter. In my spare time, I’d watch birds and spend lots of time with my wife and kids, and teach them life lessons that they can pass on to their children, besides continuously building my relationship with God and following His will even if it means I’ll have to sacrifice my dreams mentioned above or even lay down my life as His soldier. Otherwise, I have no other wishes for my ideal life, and even if I don’t live to see these dreams, I still won’t have any regrets anyway; I’ve kept all my true treasures in heaven, so as long as I know I truly lived for the One who made me, I might as well be the happiest (and bravest, as my dad always tells me) boy in the world!

  5. P.S. I have a new hashtag for this blog post, and in fact, I might make this a trend for every month. So, for this month, my hashtag is #WhatsYourDream? Let’s see if we can make this a trend in our blog; just post this hashtag at the beginning of your post, or if you want, you can try and include it in your post too! Anyways, have a great Spring Break, everyone, see you on Monday, and keep on following your dreams no MATTER what! :-)

  6. My dream (adult) life is to live in a Gothic Victorian mansion in the countryside of England, about an hour away from the city. In this future I envision myself in, the weather would be at a constant drizzle, the sun would peek from the clouds only to hide away behind it a few moments later. It would be chilly, but not like a Northeastern winter but like a comfortable, cozy chilly. I’d live alone, maybe accompanied by a pet monkey (this is no joke, I’ve always wanted a pet monkey named Bartholomew [like a vampire’s]). My kitchen would be stocked with pineapples, clementines, and grapes. Hanging in my bedroom are my diplomas and awards. The furniture would be grand, yet minimalistic. The curtains to the windows would always be opened, but windows would never be. Music would be playing in every room, so loud I can’t even hear my heartbeat. The music would be sad and slow to the others, but to me and my monkey it would be the sound of happiness and fulfillment. And in this dream life, I’d work Sundays through Thursdays, as a pediatrician. And on Fridays, I’d volunteer at a local clinic for the underprivileged. On Saturdays, I’d sleep in, travel to the city only to read my favorite book at my favorite café, go for walks in Hyde Park, then go to Big Ben, my favorite attraction. In this dream life, I won’t be fantastically rich, but I would be considered “upper middle class.” My life would be a solitary one, but not a sad one. I’d see kids every day, but never have one on my own. I’d live in the midst of natural beauty.

The dream life is exactly what it is—simply a dream. Probably not achievable but I’d like to get somewhere close to it.

My middle school dream does not exist. I’m nearing the end of my middle school education and I have no goals to fulfill. I suppose my only middle school dream is to graduate with grace, and try not to injure myself in the time being. My middle school dream is that of my normal routine except with slightly better hair, grades, and pure luck.

My high school dream is to academically succeed and to no longer have a fear of escalators. To achieve this dream, I want to strive for straight A’s. When I do get the grade I wanted, I don’t want to slack off. If I don’t get the grade I had wanted, I want to try harder. During this period of time, I want to get my driver’s license and also get over my fear of escalators. I really don’t want to drive a car and contribute to pollution and waste money on gas and insurance, but I also don’t want to be mugged on a bus. To properly transition into adulthood, I should get rid of my childhood fear of escalators. So as foolish of a goal it seems to be, it’s a true goal I hope to accomplish.

My dreams for beyond high school is to attend University of California Berkley, the University of California San Francisco, and/or Johns Hopkin University. I’d also want to attend a concert. And go on a trip to Europe. First to Spain, then France, then Italy, then Greece, then Poland, maybe Sweden, then Germany, then the Netherlands, then England, maybe Ireland, maybe Iceland, and then return to America. After completing my studies, I’d ideally live in Florida or Texas or somewhere in New England if I cannot live in the real England. Also in my dreams, I’d have a MP3 player with unlimited space.

  8. Like everyone else, I'm full of dreams. Some of my past dreams, I have already accomplished. In 1st grade, my dream was to finish elementary school with flying colors. I accomplished that as my year in 5th grade was filled with positives. Another one of my dreams was to improve my endurance and agility with crosscountry. Although I'm not the best in the sport, my fitness has definitely improved from the experience. My lungs are stronger and my legs are faster. It affected my life more positively than I thought. I learned to wake up earlier and pace myself. Although there are other dreams in my past, they have all left my mind since they are part of my daily life.
My dream life would be a life where I work as an engineer. I get to build and design while having fun. Also, I would live in a large house (not as big as a mansion) with a basketball court. I'd be living close to all my friends so it's easy to meet up with them. Also, it'd always be sunny and nice out. I would never get colds or the flu. Obviously, this is impossible, but it can't stop me from wishing. Anyway, I'd have a lot of time to enjoy my life while working. This will let me spend time with my friends and family. Also, I wouldn't have any problems financially or personally so life would be carefree. Also, I would have a lot of time to travel. I could visit all the wonders of the natural world. This is my dream world. It might not be a reality, but it's still my dream.
Since middle school is almost over, I don't have many dreams. One of the few that I have is to get at least an A in Ms. DiLonardo's class. She is a tough grader but I still love her class. That's why I want to get a good grade in her difficult class. Another one of my middle school dreams is to leave IMS with a good note. Honestly, it saddens me to think of how fast middle school passed. Unlike elementary where we had 6 years, middle school is only 3 years. I want to enjoy the time I have left in IMS. Even though there might not be air conditioning, we can still make the best out of this school.
As for my work dreams, I have already talked about that. I want to be a aerospace engineer. I want to build new planes and rockets. Even with such a work-intensive job, I want to be able to have time for other aspects of life.
As for high school and college dreams, they are sort of similar. I just want to do really good in both hs and college. I want to keep up a great GPA and do a lot of AP courses. In hs, I want to get valedictorian of my class. It'll be an honor but I will have to work really hard towards it. As for college, I want to graduate and then go back to do higher studies. I want to get a masters or doctorate so I can become more credible.
These are the dreams of my life. I'm sure that as I keep on moving, my dreams will change. But the thing that will not change is my drive to accomplish them.

  9. To be honest, my life is literally full of dreams- consisting of reasonable goals to the most impractical aims. Seriously- I used to hope that someday I’ll pass the Olympic trials and represent our country in swimming. But we all know that’s not happening any time soon. But something that I can’t stop thinking about is my dream life. If I could have everything I wanted, how would things play out? Well, I dream of driving a special muscle car to school/work, spending time with my family, living a lavish and rich lifestyle, and having tons of fun. In my free time, I imagine adventuring as much as I possibly can. For instance, I would live in a monastery with monks and rigorously train to master the art of kung fu, or go mountain climbing in the icy terrain of the Himalayas, or jump off a plane and go skydiving.

But that’s all fantasy. Flash back to the reality of present day, where I’ll be finishing my middle school years in a few months. For the rest of the time I have left, my number one goal is to make the rest of the year a blast. I won’t ever experience middle school again, so I dream of ending it with a bang. This would include excelling in all my classes, along with improving my race time to ten to eleven minutes for Cross Country.

And then next year I’m going to be a freshman in high school. I won’t be going to JFK, but instead the Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences. Getting into this school is like a dream come true in the first place. I’ve always been wanting to be in the medical field, and now I’m going to get a jumpstart to my career. But all things aside, I dream of being valedictorian of my class, even though the journey there will be especially difficult. I also want to take many Advanced Placement classes in order to be prepared for college.

After high school, I dream of going to an Ivy League university, like Harvard Medical School or Yale. This step is alone would take tons of hard work. While I go to college, my goal is to get the most education I can towards my career. This meaning I want to attend all classes that have to do with neurology, which I’ll talk more about that later. In addition, I would like to obtain the highest GPA possible, being at the top of my class/year. My current dreams about college years may not be much, as I don’t know what’s going to happen during those times, but as of now, I dream of being the best of the best in the educational perspective.

After I graduate, I’ll be drifting off into my work/adult life. This is the stage that I most oftenly think about. Where would I be twenty/thirty years down the line? Well, my goals are sky high. As I mentioned earlier, I imagine being being a well-known neurosurgeon. That’s right- after about fifteen years of rigorous study, I plan on being a famous- the best- brain doctor the world has ever seen. Ever since I attended a seminar when I was about six years old, I have always been interested in the human brain, and that has been my long term career goal. With this job, I’ll be enjoying a lavish lifestyle, with a luxurious penthouse and a Lamborghini Huracan waiting in the garage. But the wealth is nothing compared to the personal satisfaction. Most importantly, I’ll be helping thousands of people worldwide by following my interests.

Now, of course, my dreams are lenient to change as time goes on. Maybe something happens that I had never expected, and from that moment on, all my dreams and views would suddenly be different. But, no matter if my dreams are foolishly high or outrageously low, I can guarantee that I’ll always strive to achieve them.

  11. By Snehil:
I have multiple dreams for myself, not only in middle school but also in high school, college and in adult life.
In middle school, my main dream is to end the year strong. I believe that last impressions are just as first impressions because once you leave, those last few days are what people will remember you by. They won't know what happens next in your life since you'll never see them again. If you end up casting a bad impression on them, that's all that they'll remember you. I would like to avoid that and to do so preferred want to end with all A's, no problems with the teachers and definitely no disciplinary action (detentions, suspensions and any other form of punishment).
In high school, I have similar goals. Along with staying out of trouble and having solid grades, I want to do EXTREMELY well on the SAT. With high scores, I can have a better chance of getting into the college of my dreams, M.I.T. Of course, this doesn't mean that the SAT is the only way to get accepted. I also plan to volunteer a lot and participate in clubs and other activities.
In college, I mainly dream to be able to get a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering. As a little kid, I would always watch in awe as the stars, planets, moons, constellations, nebulas, galaxies and so much more came out at night. It amazed me how beautiful they are, and I wanted to learn more about them. As I grew up, this curiosity never faded, instead, it got stronger. I also wanted to know more about the spacecraft people use to reach outside of our planet, from the intimidating Saturn V to the innovative new Dragon V2 and the upcoming Orion. This interest was also increased with my first STEM class and learning about the world of engineering. With my new knowledge, I want to pursue a job in Aerospace Engineering, combining my love for outer space with my interests in engineering.
In adult life, I dream preferred my preferred job (as I have already written above). Afterward, I dream to have a successful career, with a few million dollars in my pocket (with maybe even a billion if I dream EXTRA hard). If I did ever have that much money, I probably wouldn't have to worry about any monetary issues ever, since a few million dollars make a very soft cushion. Plus, I would then finally be able to travel the world with my family with only the finest the world has to offer, rewarding my parents for all the hard work they've done, toiling so that my sister and I wouldn't have to suffer the same hardships that they did. Finally, I would also love to buy my dream car, the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster. It would literally be a dream come true if I ever had the ability to buy such a car, with all its beauty and power.

  12. As an elementary school child, I had plenty of dreams: owning a beautiful apartment in New York City; working a great, high paying job; traveling to every corner of the world. Although these dreams were great, in terms of a perfect world, as of right now, I am completely clueless as to what I want my dream life to be. Of course, it would consist of having a great home, a job that I love to wake up for everyday, and to be able to spend time with my family and friends. Other than that cliché, perfect lifestyle, I would love to continue my passion for hiking and exploring the outdoors whenever I get an interlude from my most probably jampacked routine life. As for my house (I gave up on the New York City apartment dream a long time ago), I would try to have as excellent landscaping as possible, along with plenty of space in my backyard. I would have to have a giant library at home, which would have soundproof walls so that I could practically be my loud self or blast dramatic music there without disturbing anybody. It would be amazing if I had a home theater system.
In addition, during my free time, I would want to work on writing a book that hopefully makes it to the New York Times bestseller list. I have always wanted to become an author, but only as a side hobby, not as my full time actual job. I’m still not too sure about what exactly I want to write my book on, but I do have a small collection of notes that I am planning to use in the future, and I’m sure my genre will be a mix of realistic fiction and nonfiction. Writing has always been something I resort to when I am inspired, especially by a certain event, and it’s my dream to turn this hobby into an actual thing when I’m older and have more knowledge and better writing skills. I also hope to someday to be able to travel to either Canada/Alaska or somewhere really south where I can see the Aurora Borealis or Australis. That has always been one of my largest dreams when it comes to traveling.
All of these dreams are amazing, yet it's a long time from now. As for now, middle school is the only thing that is near the current day. With two months left of middle school, I have a few goals in mind. One of them is to get my time below 12 minutes for cross country. I’ve been in cross country for 2 years now, and I really want to be able to improve in it somewhat before the end of middle school. Another middle school goal I have is to get A’s or more on all my math projects. I always end up procrastinating on projects and I get awful grades due to that. In general, by the end of the year, I want all my averages for every class to be above a 92%, as I have been able to do for the year so far. Moreover, I want to get above 830’s on both the language arts and math portions of the PARCC assignments.

    ReplyDelete
  13. As for high school my dream is to take at least 5 AP courses by the end of high school so that it would count more on my resume. I dream of getting a perfect score, at least very close to a perfect score, on my SAT’s and ACT’s. Along with that, I want to excel in at least one sport/extra curricular activity as well as join many clubs. I want to be a part of NHS, as well as hopefully be the president as one of the clubs I joined, in order to make my college application stronger. After high school, I want to hopefully earn a scholarship to go into an Ivy League college. It is from this point, that my dream life is undecided. I have no idea what to become when I grow up, as well as what subjects to take as majors and minors in college. I do however, have a rough idea of do’s and dont’s. One of the biggest things I have decided is that whatever I do it won’t be in the medical field, because that is one field I really don’t want to be in. I either want to become an engineer of some sort, or go into the business field. If I do go into the business field, I want to get a MBA, also known as Master of Business Administration from an Ivy League College. If I go into the engineering field, then I hope to get a master’s degree or a degree above that in engineering or mathematics.
When it comes to work and adult life, as I stated before, I would either want to become a type of engineer, preferably a software engineer, or something that has to do with computers, or go into the business field. If the business part of my dream comes true, then I hope to start a business of my own someday, hopefully a successful one that will make me extremely rich. In my adult life, I would want to use money earned from my job towards charities. Most importantly, I would want to donate my money to a charity that would help girls get an education in countries where girls aren’t given many opportunities. Other than that, I would use my money towards my family and other causes. I hope to achieve all of these dreams, unless they change, of course.

  14. This is a modified version, I did the blog on April 30th, as you can seen from the deleted post above. I just reread it and felt that it needed a few modifications.
To be totally honest, I don’t really have many dreams, and the ones I do have are simple—nothing too extravagant. I’ve never dreamed of being rich, or amazingly successful, or of my wedding day, or even about having children. My “dream life” is just living in a small secluded cabin in the woods of the middle South (possibly by a lake) with a few dogs, working as an author and script writer. That’s it. That’s really all I can think of for my “dream life”. I don’t want material items like a fancy car or phone or anything like that, just a peaceful existence far away from the busy life in the city or suburbs. For middle school dreams, I really have none. The year is ending anyway, and I didn’t have goals in sixth grade either. I’m a very “go-with-the-flow” kind of person, I just take situations as they happen and make the best of them. I guess if I have to choose something to say, I suppose my ‘dream’ is to not die from homework in these last couple months. For high school, I kind of just want to get a job at the library and focus on having fun for once, since middle school was 99% death by overworking myself and 1% actually letting myself have fun. I want to make the best of these years, since they go by quickly. Anyway, yeah, I’m just concerned with setting myself up for college, yet not stressing out so much that I forget to enjoy life. I’d also like to maybe join drama club to try to gain more confidence in myself or something. College dreams...wow this is a lot harder than I had anticipated. Unlike many of my peers, I don’t have a clue about what college I want to attend. I don’t even know what how college works, or what courses I need to take to pursue the career I want. All I know is that I dream of graduating college and using whatever degree I get for my job. This may sound like common sense, but it is extremely rare for this to happen for someone in my family. Once again, unlike many of my peers, my family members don’t have incredible, college-degree requiring jobs, and many of them haven’t even gone to or completed college. So I dream of breaking the trend, and especially coming out of college debt-free. That last part might be difficult, since I’m not exactly wealthy (basically lower-middle class, to be blunt). It’s a serious dream of mine, though. I’d also like to make friends in college. I don’t know why. It just sounds nice. Of course I’ll be avoiding those idiotic college parties. No thanks, I’ll be hibernating in my room. My work life dreams are simple. I want to have a stable income and all that, but most of all, I dream of having a career, not a job. What’s the difference? With a career, you enjoy what you do. With a job, you do it solely to make money. I want to have fun and be happy with my career, because life is worth living when you are able to wake up every day and be excited to go to work. My adult life dreams are what I mentioned at the very beginning. Cabin, dogs, woods, writing. Add traveling to that list to complete it. A long time ago when I was very young, I promised my dad I’d take him around the world since he hasn’t been to many places in his life and neither have I (neither of us have left the country, and I’ve never left the east coast). So I dream of taking my dad wherever he wants to travel to, and that’s my dream life. My dream life also includes living to about my early to mid 80s or below, and not past that. I don’t want to live forever. I want to die happy, not old. That is all.

  17. “Dreams are those who don't let you sleep at night.” My dream life...I can imagine myself living in a mansion in Cherry Hill. I wake up with the sun shining bright and I’m excited to go to work. My dream life includes me having no worries or regrets. I’m safe and in bubble away from all the negativity in the world. I’m only surrounded by my family and friends and the positivity they bring with them. Besides dreaming of the cliche things like a mansion, a nice car and job, etc I want to travel the world!! My dream life includes me having a high paying job that allows me to take enough absences in the year for me to travel. I want to travel to Canada, London, Italy, France, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Berlin (basically all of Europe). Let’s just say I want to practically travel the world!!!
Middle School….I only have a little under 2 months left in middle school. In this limited time, I do have a few middle school goals. My first and foremost goal is to get straight A’s this marking period as I have failed to do so in the last three. In order for this goal to be accomplished, I have to try very hard in Ms. DiLonardo’s class because this class is the most challenging and in this class I don’t get an A average. Next, I don’t want to procrastinate at all on any projects because I have about 5 overall in this marking period and if I leave anything last minute, I will end up not doing well on these major assignments. Third, we have the eighth grade dance on June 12 so I dream of there being no problems/drama on the occasion and I just have fun on the boat. Lastly, PARCC is next week and I hope to pass both ELA and math by getting a 5 in both subjects.
High school is right around the corner and now is the perfect time to dream and imagine about my high school experience. My high school dreams...I dream that in high school I have lots of friends which include people from different grades. I want to be part of many clubs and be very active in high school events. I hope to join at least one sport and carry on with this sport throughout my four years in high school. One of my high school dreams (however impossible) is to not stay up late at night completing homework. In high school it’s expected to get a lot of homework and ending up only getting a few hours of sleep a day because of the work overload. I dream that I get my homework done quickly and get enough sleep because my body barely functions on only a few hours of sleep. Another high school dream of mine is to get into NHS and be in the grade’s top 20.

  18. I can’t believe I’m going to go to college in only 4 years! My college dreams include getting accepted into college/university in New York. I plan to commute as I am not interested in dorming. Hopefully, I’ll never be late to class or miss a train as I would be taking public transportation. As of right now, I don’t know what I want my future profession to be but I definitely know it’s not going to be a math major because I am very bad at math. In college I hope I make it on the Dean’s list every year and am very successful in college. I may plan to take summer classes or join some programs that make it possible to finish college in fewer years (I don’t know of this exists or not).
Once college is over, it’s time to find a job. I dream of having a job that I will be excited to go to every day for the rest of my life. I don’t want to have a job or be in a field that I will dread for the rest of my life. As I stated before, I want a job that allows me to take enough absences so I can travel which is also an adult-life dream (I don’t think such a job exists, but maybe). I want co-workers that are respectful and friendly. I hope my boss isn’t rude or very serious. I want to work in a fun-loving environment which will keep me content and satisfied.
Finally, in my adult life I want to live in a big mansion. While having an amazing job that excites me, I also don't want to be a workaholic. I want to spend time with family and friends. I hope to go to concerts, amusement parks and much more! (Most of my adult life dreams overlap with many of the other dream categories provided.) Well at the end of the day, just never stop dreaming.

  19. Dreams... dreams are a great element of humans that allow us to look forward and are an end goal that which we can work for. This allows us to thrive and push ourselves to the limit in order to achieve these goals. Personally, I do not have much of my life mapped out as some other people do nor do i have specfic career choice planned. Although, dreams are great, you do not want to keep looking forward to the point where you forget about the present and I believe that while it is okay to have certain things planned out, you should just live live one day at a time. Anyways, some of the basic parts of the optimistic future i look to are as follows.
Starting backwards, for my adult life, my dreams would be too not have to worry about money and to avoid taking unneccesary stress. By not worrying about money, I do not mean to be filthy rich (which would be nice btw), I just mean that I wouldn't have trouble making ends meet and I could live a comfortable life. Also, I want to live a not neccesarily carefree life but try to not tear myself apart and not get stressed over every little thing. This brings me to my career options and my dream work life. I would want to work in the computers/ tech industries as I am comfortable with that, and I pick up on things technology related pretty quickly. More specificly, something that I am interested in at the moment is protectics and regenerating from stem cells. I am intrigued about the potential with prostetics and I want to help shape the future where rather than just being a replacement to aid the disabled, it can be considered an upgrade over our natural body. To top that, I want a job where I can work periodically and not have a 9-5 job everyday.
Now for college dreams, I would want to get into a good college which has good resources and all of the latest tech. Also it is not incredibly competitive as I mentioned before, I do not handle stress and pressure well. It does not have to be an Ivy League, but it should be above average for a college and would surround me would innovators which would influence to think my best and give me good opportunites.
Finally, I am going to combine my dreams for middle and high school. I really do not have specific goals for what I want to do. I know that I do not want to drive myself insane with a lot of AP classes in high school and only take one or two a year. In middle school, I just want to get good grades and wanna have a good time because if I spend all of my stress and energy here I will be burnt out when life comes around, therefore I just which wish to enjoy it and set my self up to live a good life.

  20. Dreams are one of the most important parts of our lives. Without them, our lives are completely bland. Dreams give meaning to our life, giving us inspiration to do something new. Everyone has dreams for their future, whether it be for school, college, work, or even adult life. Dreams often make a huge influence on your choices and decisions as you try to pursue them.

Like everyone else in this world, I too have many dreams. They include finishing middle school and high school with good memories, learning in a high-rate college, and going on to work as a computer engineer. These dreams, like all others, will need hard work and dedication if they are ever to come true. They will also influence my choices. For example, my dream of having good memories of school will help me stay away from things such as fights and conflicts. Going to a high-end college will also require good grades, which will push me towards studying hard and always being on top of things.

Dreams are endless. In order to pursue them, we need pure dedication and this dedication is what makes us better. It is our dreams for a better future that keep us on the right track and make us better by the day. So always remember, no matter what happens, keep dreaming!!
